SSL-VPN stands for Secure Socket Layer Virtual Private Network. This is a web-based
encrypted network that uses a public network (the Internet) to simulate a private
workspace (the company's internal network). An SSL-VPN can be compared with a secure
tunnel through the Internet that securely connects a remote worker with the
corporate network. It is a necessity to secure the access to the tunnel too. Strong
authentication is a flexible, versatile and easy to use tool to lock the SSL-VPN
from unwanted visitors.
